Treno Auction House, also known as King's House, is a location in the city of Treno in Final Fantasy IX. The party can bid for both normal and key items, and the former usually come in the form of add-ons, such as Dark Matter and Reflect Ring. The auction house is owned by the mysterious nobleman known as "King".. The Treno Auction House is not so much a side quest. It's an area in Treno where you can bid on and purchase items at auction, including several rare items that you can trade to various people in town for extra Gil. The auctioneer will announce four items, which will be put up for auction as soon as you enter the auction house. You can leave the auction house and re-enter to reset the items.

The reward for successful completion is a Tonberry Card. You can fight various monsters in the Knight's House as part of the Monster Challenge side quest. Check out the Monster Challenge guide in the Side Quests section for more information. Travel back to the Auction House (King's House) and go inside to find Dagger.. You need to get 4 key items from the auction house and then sell them to specific npcs in Treno in order to get a 5th key item to appear at the auction house which you can then exchange for the Excalibur in Daguerreo.
