Wantagh students make buckets, raise bucks for heart health Team Up 4

Fundraising for the American Heart Association is serious business at North Attleboro Middle School in Massachusetts. With an annual enrollment of around 900 students, the school has earned top state and national donation awards and raised more than $1.48 million since 1998 through its annual "Hoops for Heart" event.. Each year, Hoops for Hearts promotes physical activity, heart-healthy living, and community service while giving students the chance to engage in friendly competition through basketball skills games such as Knockout, 3 v 3, and Slam Dunk Contest. However, this year, the event held a special significance.. The American Heart Association offers programs for the classroom and for the gym to get help kids healthy and performing better in school.
