Open the diffuser from the light fi xture. Remove the fl uorescent tubes. Please dispose of these items properly as they contain mercury. Open the wiring cover to expose the fl uorescent ballast. Cut the wires shown as the diagram below and remove the ballast. Make the new wire connect to branch circuit shown as the diagram below.. To reduce risk of misapplication, Current recommends installing the Fuse Kit (BT8-1AFUSEKIT) in series with the Phase or Hot lead and the SHUNTED (Instant Start style) lamp holder(s) per the wiring diagrams below. Only one fuse kit is needed for up to 4 tubes in the same fixture. Ensure the lamp holders are SHUNTED for Double Ended T8 applications.
