Same thing happened to my 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid on December 2, 2021. Dashboard displayed the warnings: Check brake system, service advance track, and ABS turned off.. 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid - Service AdvanceTrac came on a couple of months ago and i stopped and turned off the car and back on and everything was fine but the check engine.. What is AdvanceTrac? AdvanceTrac is Ford's branding for their electronic stability control system. A stability control system uses wheel speed sensors, steering inputs, and yaw sensors to determine a vehicle's path relative to the driver's intentions. The system then provides corrections to prevent skids and slides, allowing the driver to maintain control over the vehicle.
This issue happened to me also, I have a 2010 fusion awd v6, the advancetrac/power steering warning came on while driving home today, but it still worked.. 11-15-12: This is an update..the problem apparently was isolated by my dealer and verified by a Ford traveling service engineer, to the ABS module.it took two tries for the CORRECT.. A damaged wheel speed sensor wire can also be a cause of the "Service AdvanceTrac" warning in Ford vehicles. The wheel speed sensor wires are responsible for transmitting signals from the wheel speed sensors to the vehicle's computer system. If one or more of the wires are damaged, it can cause loss of signal from the affected sensors.
