Is there any kind of device out there that uses the same charging socket as the Wii U gamepad? I just got Pikmin 3 and I'm dying to try it, but I'm visiting family and I forgot my charging cables. I was able to charge the Pro controller with a USB to micro USB cord, but I can't find anything to fit the gamepad. Is there anything that works for.. The Wii U gamepad dock uses a proprietary charging port. This mod allows you to use a standard USB type C cable instead.This board is currently available on.

Because you can plug the cord from the charger stand directly into the gamepad but in my experience it only supplies direct current and still needs the stand to actually charge the battery. The Wii U Pro controller has a USB ended cord for charging, but the gamepad one goes straight to a wall socket.. The optimal charging temperature is between 50 degrees and 95 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees to 35 degrees Celsius). It can take up to 2.5 hours to charge the Wii U GamePad. This time will vary if the GamePad is being used. Once fully charged, the battery will remain charged for 3 to 5 hours depending on use. Complete these steps
