Anyone Know how to turn off the ECO setting!? 2016 JK Sport WITHOUT EVIC. When the button below the speedo is pressed it goes from mileage to Trip A to Trip B to Eco. This has always showed "ECO off" Three days ago I went to local dealer for an oil change (I had a coupon!). When I left the ECO popped up on my instrument panel.. Put key in ignition and turn 1-click. Go into Personal Settings and go through all menus, it won't be there. Conditions for "Display Fuel Saver" to appear in Personal Settings: Put key in ignition and turn key all the way to "on" (2-clicks). Go into Personal Settings there will be an option for "Display Fuel Saver".
Drivers activate Eco Mode differently depending on Wrangler model year: 2014-2018 Jeep Wranglers. These models featured a dedicated "ECO" button positioned on the center dash panel. Depressing it toggles the mode on and off. 2019+ Jeep Wranglers. Newer Wranglers have the Eco Mode switch integrated into the drive mode selector.. I have the base JK..so the "ECO" mode is at the base of the tachometer. When the ECO mode is chosen, and you are driving conservatively, it will say "ECO on". With a heavy foot, the "on" disappears. I normally drive with it on, as we are in a rural, hilly area, so a trip to Home Depot or a decent grocery store is a 50 mile round trip.
